Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack

The next class will be a Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack. For $1.50 per card, you can stamp as many handmade cards as you need, choosing from a number of card designs in both Contemporary and Traditional styles.

Class will meet at my home from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM on November 8th.

You can also purchase your own Christmas card making bundle, which includes the Contempo Christmas stamp set and Jolly Holiday Designer paper so that you can continue to make cards at home. This package is $35 and needs to be pre-ordered. Please let me know if you wish this set so that I can order for you.

When putting this card together, I noticed that the flower in the Baroque Motifs set almost matched the pattern on the paper.

My Digital Studio Design Contest!

Falling Leaves

I love the fall.  It's my favorite time of year.  The cool crisp air, the chaning of the leaves of the trees, squirrels busy about their business collecting nuts for the cold winter ahead, back to school time.  I love everything about it.  I'm a sweatshirt and jeans kind'a gal.

Ahoy, Matey! Did you know that today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day?

It's a day just for fun, a day to let out the pirate in each of us. I like "just for fun" days and I know you do, too.
Practice up your "pirate-speak" in anticipation of this day. The conversation will be lively, and you don't want to be left behind. Today, everyone will be talking the talk, if not walking the walk. It is not a requirement to dress like a pirate today. Just talk like one. So why not practice your Pirate speak while making a pirate themed card?  Stampin' Up! has the perfect stamp set for that.  It's the Beware Pirates set (115187).

Davey Jones would be proud of the artwork and be pleased to get his slimy tentacles on a card made from this set.
